In this intermediate key word sign course, you will build your knowledge of key word sign and gesture in familiar, everyday activities, routines, games and songs. You will learn about how to create a sign environment using strategies and resources to encourage and support the use of sign.
The focus of this course is building your skills in signing accuracy and fluency through individual, small group, and whole group activities. You will revise the signs of the Interactive Vocabulary learned in ‘Getting Started with Key Word Sign’ and learn between 80 -100 news signs.
This workshop is available as a blended learning package. This involves a self-paced eLearning module, and a practical session presented in person.
